    MTU size on Symbian Phones

    Hi Everybody,

I want to learn what is the default MTU size on Symbian Phones. There is a strange situation like this, I am able to browse with Nokia N95 8 GB using the phones web browser and everything seems ok, but I have an USB modem (a sim card is in it) can not browse. I can attach to GPRS but can not browse. When I reduce the MTU size on Windows I can browse the web pages but it slows down.
So that If any body can tell me the default MTU size on Symbian size, I can compare with USB Modem (On the USB modem the MTU size is set to 1500 by default) Thanks.

Re: MTU size on Symbian Phones

If you search for *mtu* in the SDK, help you will find TSoInetInterfaceInfo, it has an iMtu member.
And if you search for TSoInetInterfaceInfo in the Wiki, you will find some articles about getting your own IP address, however it inherently gets the MTU too.
While you were searching for *mtu* in the SDK Help, you also found "in_sock.h Global variables", there are some socket options too, like KSoTcpSendWinSize, KSoTcpRecvWinSize, KSoTcpMaxSegSize, you may also want to check those.
