I'm really trying to force sockets onto the 6310i. While attempting to determine why the 6310 won't load a pure socket Protocol class, I've removed InternalConnector.class from the classes.zip file in the emulator, and put an alternative version in my own class folder (com.sun.midp.io.InternalConnector), obviously available in the classpath. However, when I run it, the emulator is still loading the original InternalConnector.class, not my new one!! How is it doing this? I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't find anything, but where on earth is it getting the original from? I'm running it through Sun's Wireless toolkit - I've even removed InternalConnector.class from the midpapi.zip in the WTK, but it still finds an original! Any chance anyone's got any ideas?
