MMS Java Library uses java.net classes

After I looked over the MMS Java examples, I found MMS uses java.net classes, is this true? Normal MIDP don't use java.net. Does that mean MMS support java.net and will future MIDP support java.net? Thank you in advance.

The Java lib you are refering is meant to be used in PC enviroment, it's a library that utilizes the EAIF interface. EAIF is designed for external applications to be run by service providers. It's not a component that can be used to develope an application to the terminals.
