    how to get certificate for signing midlet in j2me

    I am working with application in that i have to get imei number for series 40 nokia 6300 model, so in series 40 midlet should be signed so how to sign midlet using certificate and how can we use self signed midlet.
    Please repply as soon as possible who knows it.

    To get IMEI in Series 40 phones, it requires that your MIDlet is signed to either operator or manufacturer domain, and this is only available in Series 40 3rd Edition, FP1 devices and newer.

    You can get the app Signed to Operator or Manufacturer domain if you are working closely with them.
