WidSets Player broken from version 3.0 onwards

    Hello all,

From version 3.0 onwards I noticed some strange behavior of a Player class. First of all, when the player object instance is created with a getPlayer function, the sound gets played. This is inconvenient when one tries to define all needed players at one spot.

Secondly, when you try to start or stop the player, after it has been defined, the java.lang.IllegalStateExeption: Player is closed is thrown.

This was tested on the phone with client version 3.1

Am I the only one with such problems or is the WidSets Player really broken?

Sorry, this was poorly tested on our side.

However if you create Player using getPlayer(getResource("..."), "audio/...", 100) then it doesn't instantly play it but even then you can play it only once (because playerlistener closes the player when it hits the end;(

So workaround for now is to use bytearray-constructor, play, close, construct again.

Will certainly be fixed it for 3.5.

    Thx for the replying render.

I will try to implement the proposed solution over the weekend.

Tried the proposed solution. It works better then using the playSound() method.

    thx
