    Dialog out of focus

    Hi All,

I have a query regarding the CAknDialog. I have a dialog class that is derived from the CAknDialog and has CAknSettingItemList as a data member displaying some settings items constructed from the resource file. Now when the
dialog is shown, I switch to another application(say by using menu key) and later try to go back to my application, I don't
see the dialog (CAknDialog) displayed. However, I see the menu options still being displayed. How can I restore the dialog back to focus in this case?

Any leads on this topic is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance,
    Spresh

    Re: Dialog out of focus

    Hi,

Thanks for the information. It was very helpful. So does this mean one cannot create CAknSettingItemList within a CAknDialog? Do we need to have a view/container to launch the CAknSettingItemList in order to retain the focus?

    Thanks in Advance,
