    CEikNumberEditor->SetNumber() panics

    Hi!
    I want to change values shown in my forms and have some code :

    CEikEdwin* textEd = (CEikEdwin*)Control(ESettingsViewIPFieldId);
    TBuf<15> tempAddress(iConfig->GetIpAddress());
    textEd->SetTextL(&tempAddress);

    RDebug::RawPrint(tempAddress);
    RDebug::Printf("remote port : %d", iConfig->GetRemotePort());

    CEikNumberEditor* remotePortEd = (CEikNumberEditor*)Control(ESettingsViewRemotePortFieldId);
    remotePortEd->SetNumber(iConfig->GetRemotePort());

    Panic occur in : remotePortEd->SetNumber().

    Please get me some clue what's going on...

    USER Panic 42.

    Thank for you help!

    Re: CEikNumberEditor->SetNumber() panics

    Ok, the case is that in sample code in docu there are two different number fields :

    CEikNumberEditor* numberEd =
    (CEikNumberEditor*)Control( EMyAppControlIdNumberEd );
    numberEd->SetNumber( iData.iNumber );
    CAknIntegerEdwin* integerEd =
    (CAknIntegerEdwin*)Control( EMyAppControlIdIntegerEd );
    integerEd->SetValueL( iData.iInteger );

    CEikNumberEditor and CAknIntegerEdwin.

    Look into your rss file and see which one you have defined :)

    Regards,
