    Browser configurations

All browsers on PC ( IE / Mozilla) have an option "DONOT USE PROXY FOR " . This is generally used to connect quickly to a local LAN address rather than the request going to the Internet.
In mozilla 3, u can find this in Options->Advanced->Network->Settings.
I wish to know if something of that sort can be configured for the mobile browser.

    ## Nature of Problem ##
I am hosting a web service in my machine and wish to access it via my mobile phone. Currently, my requests go to the internet and try to locate my machine.
The address which i am trying to lookup is
    http://<My IPAddress>:1087/FolderName/services.asmx?wsdl

    Any suggestions ?
