How to access the internet from S40 emulator?

I have tried to open a url in the browser of a S40 emulator, but always failed. The APN is the default one, and I cannot find a way to change the setting of emulator APN.

For an S60 emulator everything works fine, simply by selecting a WINSOCK APN, then everything ok.

Does the S40 emulator support access the internet through PC's winsock?

    Thanks and best regards.

Re: How to access the internet from S40 emulator?

Updated: I have tried connect to a website on port 8090, and succeed.

Then I checked /bin/java.policy inside the sdk folder, found the following line:

    permission java.net.SocketPermission "*:1024-65535",

then I tried to modify it to "*:80-65536" still has no use.

    Any suggestions?
