RuntimeException: Error: Attempt to getDisplay by application after destroyApp called

    Hi everyone...

I have been developing for J2ME for a while and never got this error:

RuntimeException: Error: Attempt to getDisplay by application after destroyApp called

I am developing a JSR082 based application. I have multiple midlets (so I have a MIDlet suite). When I exit (notifyDestroyed) a MIDlet and execute it again afterwards, during the second execution I get this RuntimeException error. I have been looking for someone commenting this error but found nothing on the net.

Some feedback would be more than appreciated.

Thanks you very much in advance.

Re: RuntimeException: Error: Attempt to getDisplay by application after destroyApp ca

What do you do in destroyApp and what's the code around the notifyDestroyed functiona call?
Are you experiencing this when you launch the MIDlet immediately after the exit? or in every case (even with longer wait in between exit and launch)?

Which device are you experiencing this on? Does the same thing happen also on other devices?
