    Hi all
I am new to mms and want to create application in pda using a GPRS phone as the modem. I have try the MMS Java library and it can work for internet ( I use the emulator to receive ).
Now i want to change it to wap, so that i can send the message to real service provider, then will the same library work?? or anything should be modify ? or does that any other method in encoding the MM?
    thanks

    Hi!

The Java library provided by Nokia is meant to be used in PC enviroment when creating MMS services. Only usable mart miht be the message encapsulation that can be used in client side as well. You need to code whole WAP stack to your pda in order to have full MMS message delivery in place.

    Hi,
As far as Encoding goes, You can use the Same Library. I had used the MMS Library to submit a Message with WAP encoding over HTTP to a 3GPP Compliant MMSC and it worked fine. The Message was delivered to the recipient Terminal. I am not sure if the MMS Libraries restrict them selves to MIDP and CLDC.
