T-Mobile is looking for a Senior Manager of Programming and Content managment to lead a team responsible for driving increased usage and adoption of T-Mobile web services and partner web sites as well as increased download and purchase of content including music, wallpaper, and applications. You will be instrumental in the definition of the strategy, business model, and product plan for these services. Your role will require you to work collaboratively with T-Mobile marketing, product management, business development, engineering, and design teams as well as with external partners to build, deploy, and continuously improve a revolutionary mobile web experience.

You and your team will acquire, manage, and present content and web sites to users on the mobile web. Your team will program the site by presenting and marketing relevant and innovative content, applications and services to users on a timely basis. Your team will also be responsible for the selection, marketing and promotion of all items offered within the T-Mobile store through browse and search experience. You will be responsible for measuring and analyzing site performance as well as defining new initiatives and tools to drive adoption, usage and purchase of services and content.

Primary Duties

Identify target customer needs and opportunities through primary and secondary research in partnership with T-Mobile’s marketing team
Use knowledge of customer, competition and T-Mobile’s unique value proposition to define product and business strategy.
Develop systems and processes for recruiting, evaluating, contracting, validating and optimizing mobile web services
Own service reporting and metrics and utilize information to continuously improve existing and new mobile web promotional services
Work with customer data to increase customer engagement by targeting appropriate customers for up-sell, cross-sell, and new marketing opportunities
Develop systems and processes to aquire, promote & merchandise timely and relevant content and services to mobile web customers
Identify key business and content partners; work with business development team to negotiate agreements and manage partnerships on ongoing basis.

Experience and Education

7 to 10 years of programming,content, and editorial experience
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in large organizations.
Experience and strong understanding of internet services
Experience working in a consumer facing role
Strong partner management skills are needed in this role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Mobile product experience is a plus.
Passionate user of mobile web services with a vision for future opportunities
MBA desired
