    expire a midlet

    I want to make a midlet expire after a specific time so that it does not open again . Anybody give some suggestion or some sample code that could be very useful

    Hi,

    You can record the time the application first started. Then if the application expired, exits after the application starts. [Very straightforward logic]

    Use the java.util.Date class to get the current date and if it's after the date when the MIDlet should stop working simply call notifyDestroyed().
