lauch midlet on phone call; is it possible?

    Hi,

I am interested in a midlet that can launch when a phone call starts.

I am interested to make myself an applications that blocks certain contacts on my agenda when they call me between certain hours.

Is it possible? Maybe with some Nokia API?
I am interested in NOkia 6300.

    Thanks.

    Hello dcr,

it is not possible to access phone call functionality/capabilities using Java ME. So from that point of view it's unfortunately no.

    Hell rooossone,

Yes, with Symbian C++ this should be doable. For further info, it's best to get in touch with Symbian C++ experts here http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...isplay.php?f=6

and also from c++ would it be possible to launch a java midlet
Better to check with Symbian gurus this too.

.. and pass information to it?
One possible way to do (I haven't tested this myself) it is explained in this resource:
