    [moved] nokia 6131 nfc question

    hey everyone
I have an application for the 6131 nfc that uses its rfid read/write capability. At the moment the user has to select a scan menu option before scanning a tag.
I was wondering, assuming that the phone power is always plugged in, are there any negative effects of continuously keeping the rfid waiting for a read without the user explicitly starting a scan from the menu? it doesnt seem to time out trying to scan. Has any one tried this, or had issues with multiple reads per scan if its continuously scanning.

    thanks

It will not consume more battery if you listen for tag all the time.

NFC antenna is on when screen light is on, and it doesn't matter if someone is listening for incoming tags or not.
