    Softkeys don't work on N95 (Flash Lite 3.0)

    I have Flash Lite 3.0 installed on my N95 and I can't get the softkeys working.
    I've searched a lot and here's a part from my code:

    PHP Code:
    fscommand2("SetSoftKeys","","");
    var
    lstn:Object=new Object();
    lstn.onKeyDown=function(){
        switch(
    Key.getCode()){
            case
    ExtendedKey.SOFT1:

    Key.removeListener(lstn);

    _root.gotoAndStop(3);
            break;
            case
    ExtendedKey.SOFT2:
            case
    Key.UP:

    Key.removeListener(lstn);

    _root.typedpw _root.pwinp;

    _root._so.data.lastPW == _root.pw;

    _root._so.flush();

    usePW=true;

    _root.gotoAndStop(3);
            break;
        }
    }
    Key.addListener(lstn);
    Whenever I press the left softkey it brings up the flash menu even though it is fullscreen, and when I press right softkey it quits. The screen orientation is standard (240x320, didn't mess with it in any way)

    It weirdly started to work. But the second softkey is buggy. It goes to that frame and the instant it also quits the Flash movie.
    Weird.

    I know, some S60 phones have the same problem.
    For example, I experienced the same problem with a N78.
    When pressing the left soft key, the key listener did its work, but besides that, also the regular menu popped up.

    BUT, with another flash lite app, it just works fine, so it's really very strange.

    I will look into this and let you know where the problem is.

    Re: Softkeys don't work on N95 (Flash Lite 3.0)

    hi,

    My experience on the subject is that:

    first, the command fscommand2("SetSoftKeys","xxx","yyy"); is not just here to set the labels but allows the application to receive the softkey events. I am in full screen so I don't need to set the label but if I don't issue that command, the flash menu is displayed when I press the left softkeys, meaning that the softkey is captured by flash player as a default (right key exists Flash)

    Well you have used that command and I use a N95 and flash lite 3.0 so this mail will not help you.

    Soft Keys can be controlled from within a Flash Lite application. You can prevent its default behaviour by remapping it to perform the functions you want it to, and this can be done with the code that is mentioned below.
    status = fscommand2("SetSoftKeys", "left", "right");
