Hi Shashi Welcome to Forum Nokia,

You can Edit The Existing Record in record store For that you need to follow these steps:

    1. Open the Record store
    2. Get the Record Which you want to edit.
    3. Do the modification What you want to do
    4. Then set the record in the same location
    5. close the record store.

    Re: EDIT RMS

    Hi

Yes you can edit the record in the RMS.

To achieve the same just read the record you want to edit, modify the changes you want and insert itback to the same position.

The APIs that you can use are getRecord(recID) and setRecord(int recordId, byte[] newData, int offset, int numBytes).

    Hope this will help you.

    Regards
    Amit

    Re: EDIT RMS

    Hi,
When ever you delete the record . That record con't be reused.

    The j2me Documentation says

The record is deleted from the record store. The recordId for this record is NOT reused.
