    Like List.setSelectCommand(cCommands.selectCMD);

    Hi,

    Like List has a way to handle fire key though setSelectCommand(cCommands.selectCMD);

    is there a similar way to use fire key by way assiging one of the added commands to forms.

    I am fine, if there is a solution for this on Nokia Phones, using Nokia UI or any other support java api.

    Hi,

    If I understood the problem right, you can do it by using the setDefaultCommand() method on the Item in the form.

    Hmmm.... I guess nagkumar is asking if it is possible to add a command in the middle soft key (selection key, whateveryouwanttocallthekeyinsidethedirectionalkeys) using high-level UI

    This depends on phone's implementation of MIDP high-level UI.
    On Series 40 phones this has been possible for quite some time (system places the highest priority "positive" command in the middle key)
    On S60 3rd Edition FP2 devices - the same way.
    On earlier S60 phones you cannot add commands in the MSK
