    Exclamation Erro in .pkg file

    Hi,
    While building in S60 2.1 Phone Armi (release) my .pkg file contains following error , can anyone please tell me why this occurs.

    Check for other errors. possibly the build was not successful and hence its not able to find file which is mentioned in line 26 in your pkg file

    It is not about the .pkg, it is about
    ERROR: Dll 'SYMBCLNT[0706D501].APP' has initialised data
    .app files can not have writable static data (mere global variables, or static member variables in classes).

    In EKA1:
    We cannot define WSD on DLL or APP. If we try to define it, the compiler will report "initialized data" error message.

    Hi Pornima,

    If your application does not require UI, you can change your application type to Console and then use the global/static data which will work even for EKA1.
