    A complicated problem!!!

I have to identical files (wml-files). The difference between them is a number in a link (CGI)

and in the other file the same except that the 0 is a 7. With the 0 its ok but with the 7 the Nokia7110 cant read the file!!!

Is there anyone out there who can help me with this gigantic problem?

    Hi Dick,

You haven't exactly given a great deal of detail here, have you?
I would suggest that you first ensure that your CGI program is
correctly decoding the number at the end of your query string.
Then, check (using a normal web browser, duh!) that the CGI program is writing the correct mime output for both variables.

If your CGI program is working okay, then another potential
problem rears its ugly head: You are attempting to
write too much output back to the Nokia. Via a Nokia WAP
gateway you can write a maximum of 1.4K bytes of WML or
WMLS back to the phone. Try any more than that, and the
gateway (or the phone) drops the request.

I *think* that the data transfer limit is caused by Nokia's WAP
gateway and not the phone. This implies that the limit
could be overcome through software at the gateway. If I am
    wrong, then please correct me.
