First of all one question: Which are the capabilities your application is using? Open .mmp file and list them down here.

    Re: Open Signed Online issue

If the server reports a network error that means that the problem is not related with your sis file, or with Symbian programming. At best it could be about bad web programming.

Why don't you contact Symbian Signed and let them know about the problem? There's nothing that anybody here can do about it.

    Re: Open Signed Online issue

    Hi Kiran,

These capability required in my application.
Location NetworkServices LocalServices ReadUSerData WriteUserData UserEnvironment

Except Location capability all are basic capability. Location is extended capability.
According to my knowledge I can do self sign for basic capability.
For extended capability I can sign .sis file using Open Signed Online process.

Correct me if I am wrong. Since yesterday I am trying to sign my .sis file.

Tell me what other option I can use for .sis file signing for above capability.

Yes, that's why I asked you to show your capabilities. By the way why do you need to use Location capability? For which API?

    Do you have Publisher ID?

    Answer all the questions.

    Hi Kiran,

I am doing Location based application in which I want Latitude and longitude. So I need Location Capability.

These are the API which required Location capability.
TPositionModuleId, RPositionServer , RPositioner , TPositionInfo, TPositionSatelliteInfo,TPositionUpdateOptions, TPositionInfoBase.

    I don't have Publisher ID.

    Re: Open Signed Online issue

Ok. If you do not have Publisher ID then you have to use OpenSinged Online.

Once upon a time, I faced the same problem. Suggestion was to clear the cache of the browser or use other web browser just for try. But nothing helped me. Fortunately in few days I was able to use that service.

So you can try the suggestion provided. Also search on Symbian Developer Network and apply other suggestions if you find.
