are you trying to change the name from an application that was made by others, or is it your own application you are talking about ?

    ..
Handy and easy option to replace all the occurrence of your OLD name with NEW name in whole project. Build it and generate .sis file and finally install it on phone. It should work without any problem.

    hi rizhlri

i am not sure but i think it will be impossible to change the application name which is developed by somebody else.
Moreover i still think that your question is not explained in a propr sense please try one more time.

It is possible, just not legal. Editing the .aif should have worked, unless the length of the strings are modified (which is not possible without re-compiling the resource). Also note that the presence of an xy_caption.rsc overloads the .aif.
