Could S60_3rd_FP2 SDK be installed on Vista?

I have finished this installation, and I can see this device successfully by the command "devices", but it cannot find the path when I type the command "epoc". I have installed this program under D:\S60. How can I solve this problem?

    Hi,
Try searching for epoc from the root of your SDK. Go to the path where your epoc is residing (from command line)from there if you give epoc command your emulator will launch.
As Sriky27 mentioned substituting drive path to virtual drive is a good way for starting to use the SDK.

Why do you suggest to substitute drive to be virtual or something similar?

I hope you have installed SDK, Carbide.c++ etc... needed tools on the same drive for smooth moving. I would always go with default settings/paths when I work with Symbian SDKs and tools.

    Hi,
I understand it is not necessary but it is always easy to work from the root directly especially when you are having multiple SDKs installed iin the same drive.I for myself always follow this practice. However it is just a suggestion :-).
