    Question why TelNo is not obtained

    TDesC CCallMonitor::GetNumber()
    {
    RLine::TLineInfo aNewLineInfo;
    iMobileLine.GetInfo(aNewLineInfo);
    iCallName.Copy(aNewLineInfo.iNameOfCallForAnswering);
    iMobileCall.OpenExistingCall(iMobileLine, iCallName);

    RMobileCall::TMobileCallInfoV1 iMobCallInfo;
    RMobileCall::TMobileCallInfoV1Pckg iMobCallInfoPckg(iMobCallInfo);
    User::LeaveIfError(iMobileCall.GetMobileCallInfo(iMobCallInfoPckg));

    TBuf8<100> num;

    iNumber.Copy(iMobCallInfo.iRemoteParty.iRemoteNumber.iTelNumber);

    num.Copy(iNumber);
    MakeFileL(_L("c:\\GetNo.txt"), num);
    iMobileCall.Close();

    }

    it writes to the file " @°F@ " instead of my phone no.

    Hi,
    It looks like it has fetched the number but something was wrong in how it was written in to the file. Why don't you log using RFileLogger(if u r not using it already) .
    Check this link as to how to use RFileLogger

    Re: why TelNo is not obtained

    Hi,
    RFileLogger is a dedicated class for logging purpose only( for debugging application on device) hence provide lot of features to the developers. RFile is a generic class for performing all sort of operations on files like read, write , appending.You can also use RFile for your logging purpose but then you will have to take care that your logging functions are always under debug flag so that the logging is turned off for release builds in case of RFileLogger that is not a problem since you can define in your library the lib Flogger under DEBUGLIBRARY so it will take care of not including logs for release build.
