    Nokia emulators in J2ME Wireless toolkit

    I've been developing apps using the wireless toolkit for a couple of months now and I have been able to get the nokia emulators to work with it. However, after running the emulators a few times, java runs out of memory and I have to restart the wireless toolkit before i can continue working.

    Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a problem with the emulators or the toolkit? Is there a work around or do i just have to live with it?

    thx for the help.

    RE: Nokia emulators in J2ME Wireless toolkit

    It's probably an error with the Emulator.

    I use the Series 40 Emulator Beta 2 and after a while I find lots of midp.exe running on my computer under Task Manager (win2000).
    The Beta 3 version is even worse, it completely slows down after a while !!!!!

    I wonder when a proper Series 40 Emulator will be releaesd.

    RE: Nokia emulators in J2ME Wireless toolkit

    Hi,

    i have the same problem.
    With the new 60 series emulator (beta 02) i don't have an out of memory error but, after running a midlet , stopping some changes in the source code, build .. everything is fine but then you try run again i get an error like java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError

    This are the bad news...

    The good one are the new emulator solves some problem a had
    with RecordStore.listRecordStores() :-))

    best regrads
