    Bluetooth commands

I have added a bluetooth device and everything looks good apart from the fact that there is no "Connect" alternative in the phone UI when selecting the BT device.

Now, is there a way to add/show commands like "Connect" to certain devices via some sort of plugin system?
How does the phone know when to show a command like "Connect" on certain devices?

    Regards
    G

Could you explain a bit more details on what you have done ?
    With which device ?
And what it is supposed to do and when (in bit more details) ?

    Re: Bluetooth commands

    Hi,

What type of device is not important but as an example lets say its another phone. To connect to this device (that i have added in my list of available bluetooth devices) i would expect a "Connect" option to appear in the context menu when the device is selected.

Basically what i want to do is add a Connect option in the context menu via some sort of plugin system that also will allow me to control the execution when "Connect" is clicked.
    Does it make sense?

    Re: Bluetooth commands

Such extension API-s do not necessarily exist in case of arbitrary applications. However in case of BT, something similar does happen if you have a BT Audio device: you get a Connect command for it. But it is not sure if you can provide such commands yourself, and it is sure that the necessary API is not part of the public SDK, neither the plugin packs (http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/SDK_API_Plug-in contains a BT Engine API, but that serves different purposes as I see).
You can try buying a technical support case for finding out.
