    Question KERN EXEC 0

    when i entered inside ActiveSchedulerWait's start method i get the
    KERN EXEC 0. How should i avoid it

    how are you using it, that particular error is usually associated with R-Class instances that were not opened/connected before trying to utilize them.

    Hi,
    According to the documentation it says
    "This panic is raised when the Kernel Executive cannot find an object in the object index for the current process or current thread using the specified object index number (the raw handle number)."
    That means the object you are referring to is not there.Can you post your code snippet which is giving the error.

    you propably should have checked the next line, it says what i already put into the first reply: "The most common reason for this is trying to use a kernel-side resource without first having sucessfully created it or sucessfully opened it."

    Hi,

    Why are you using ActiveSchedulerWait you want to run the progress dialog in that loop is it, but there is no pending request in the loop to be executed, correct me if i am wrong. Perhaps you could apply this approach
