    Carbide vs 3.0

    Hi,

    I have installed carbide vs 3.0 for visual studio 2005, i created a new project (exe) 'hello world example'. on executing it GUI interface is shown, where as i want console...
    do i need to change some settings???

    My SDK is S60 2nd FP3

    Hi,

    if you really do not need the UI framework you can use also the console application. Check the wiki section for the instruction how to make console application. Also some examples in the SDK are console based.

    I can very well make console application in carbide IDE but i wanna know how to do it in Visual studio 2005... so is there any help in wiki regarding console app in visual studio???

    Even when I try and import a console application in vs 2005, GUI is displayed on executing....

    looks like you are using Console class in the exe. try removing usage of that class.
