TransferProgress-FTP

Hi All,

I am working on S60 2nd and using CFTPSession and MFtpSessionNotifier, there is a method 'TransferProgress' in MFtpSessionNotifier and i wish to use it to determine the bytes transfered. Does any body has the idea how to use this method and which method in CFTPSession class callbacks this method??

Thanks,

Hi,
See the pure virtual funcation that will help to implement the solution of your problem.

MFtpSessionNotifier::TransferProgress()

virtual void TransferProgress(TUint aProgress)=0;

Description
Reports the amount of data already transferred in bytes.

Parameters
TUint aProgress Amount of data already transferred
Use Qt-Quick to make your application UI more attractive.

Thanks KKrish for your reply, but can you explain me how to use this method. As far as i have understood, MFtpSessionNotifier's methods are called back by CFTPSession calss methods.
1. Which method will invoke this method???
2. If i invoke it from outside what value do i need to pass it??

Kindly help me in the implementation of this method.

Regards,
hundal

Re: TransferProgress-FTP

Hi,

Try to debug your program and put break point in all the pure virtual function then you will find how the function can be used.
Read TransferProgress(TUint aProgress) the value of aPrgress variable.

these are the pure virutal function call by the framework directly.
Use Qt-Quick to make your application UI more attractive.
