Wink Making SIP calls through a VPN on a Nokia. Help Request.

    Hello

    I'll get straight to it.
I have a friend (cough) who works in the Mi ddle E ast.
The country where he works has 2 ISPs/ Phone companies.
The only 3G/ISP provider has to use the other company for Internet access.
As a consequence VoIP and SIP are not available (blocked).

It is,however, possible to use SIP or VoIP PC phones if my friends computer is connected/subscribed to a VPN provider located in another country.
My friend (cough), who uses the 3G provider, would like to connect his GSM phone to the Interent, then connect to his VPN account and then load his Skype, SIP/VoIP details into the phone to work just like it does on his computer.

Please, in easy to understand talk, what does my friend need to have? e.g. a new phone model, software etc.
Does he need to subscribe to a special type of VPN? If so which company for his SIP to work on his mobile.

    Many thanks

John (on behalf of his friend.... cough cough)

Ok, just because of you generous offer, I will answer it.
Let know your friend (cough) who works in the Mi ddle E ast
that recently a lot of folks in that place are using SymVPN - PPTP VPN for S60 3rd and 5th.
FYI, E90 built-in VoIP SIP client works fine with SymVPN.
