    Bluetooth

    Hi everyone!

Im a newbie Symbian-based applications but Ive been working with microsoft .NET (C++,C#,etc...), java and j2me for 3 years. My questions are : If I make the port of my applications to symbian-c++, please can anyone tell me if my applications will work faster and better? I work with complex applications using bluetooth, sms, gsm, gprs, etc....and Ive realized bluetooth connections in java are just slow and they take a lot of time to work, so my question is if bluetooth is better controlled making a program in symbian-c++.

    Thx in advance

    Kind regards

    Re: Bluetooth

    Hi again

first of all thank you very much; Ive read some information about youve told to me about symbian programming; the fact is, Ive been thinking in portability and Im not totally sure symbian programming is going to be portable to every device running Symbian OS; Ive seen, as Ive known, there are a lot of different versions of Symbian OS so it means there is a requirement to make a different version to every OS and it translates the problem in a lot of versions of the same application considering just only one application to be ported....so if the applications are more than 1....I cant imagine the amount and loads of work to do considering I make everything by myself. So, before continue and to follow on, could anyone assure to me the portability to the other devices? Is it possible to make it effective in a proper way? Thx in advance

    Kind regards
