    Application doesn't work after signing it (Open Signed)

    Hi,

    I have an application that I suppose it uses "Location" and "ReadUserData" capabilities.

    After I submit it to the Open Signed Process BETA, I try to install it on the phone.

    The installation goes fine.

    Therefore, when I try to run it, a message is shown and the application doesn't open. This is the message shown (I translated it to English):

    "MyApp: Cannot run file, security reasons."

    Please, someone can help me?

    Regards.

    Your application or certificate with which it has been has insufficient capabilities

    You suppose your application uses only these two capabilities .
    Your guess might be wrong.

    Thank you very much.

    I have cheched it, and I finally got the program running.

    Therefore, it's not working properly.

    It behaves differently from the emulator, when I run it on the phone.

    ;(

    My application doesn't display the text when Draw() method is called (on the phone);

    Therefore, it does on the emulator (S60). And in addition, it does not on the S60_FP1 emulator.

    Why??

    If your application is working on emulator and not working on device then you use extended panic code

    Re: Application doesn't work after signing it (Open Signed)

    I have discovered the reason of the problem.

    Since the emulator doesn't permit to remove applications, I was with a few applications with the same name. I was running the wrong one.

    Is there a way to erase undesired applications from the emulator?

    Regards.

    If you need restricted or device manufacturer capabilities, there is no 'help', you need a Publisher ID. And in the latter case you also need approval from the manufacturer.

    Would you please describe the problem again? What do you mean by "I have checked all the capabilities"? Where have you done this and why? What capabilities do you really need?

    I have checked all the capabilities in Open Signed Process
    In the checkboxes of the page, before submitting the application to the Open Signed (https://www.symbiansigned.com/)

    and in MMP file
    using a text editor

    I really need 'Location' and 'Read User Data' features.

    I don't know certain about another capabilities.

    thanks
