    Error in building HelloWorld application

    Hi

I am trying to build HelloWorldBasic application in Carbide.
    The SDK is Version5.
I am getting the following error:

D:\env\S60_5_0_200834\S60CppExamples\AutoAdaptedToTouchEx\helloworldbasic\data\HelloWorldBasic.rss:21: eikon.rh: No such file or directory
D:\env\S60_5_0_200834\S60CppExamples\AutoAdaptedToTouchEx\helloworldbasic\data\HelloWorldBasic.rss:22: avkon.rh: No such file or directory
    make[1]: *** [D:\env\S60_5_0_200834\epoc32\build\env\S60_5_0_200834\S60CppExamples\AutoAdaptedToTouchEx\helloworldbasic\group\HELLOWORLDBASIC\WINSCW\HelloWorldBasic.rsc.d] Error 33
    make[1]: *** Deleting file `D:\env\S60_5_0_200834\epoc32\build\env\S60_5_0_200834\S60CppExamples\AutoAdaptedToTouchEx\helloworldbasic\group\HELLOWORLDBASIC\WINSCW\HelloWorldBasic.rsc.d'
    make: *** [RESOURCEHELLOWORLDBASIC] Error 2

Where are these header files and if they are system files, why not found in Carbide.

If anyone can comment on this issue,
    Thanks in advance.

That name "S60_5_0_200834" looks more like an internal SDK than a public one. I am not sure how Carbide can use such SDK-s, but it is clearly seen that the toolchain does not manage to find the SDK root (since the line "SYSTEMINCLUDE \epoc32\include" is obviously present in the .mmp file).

Ya , it is an internal SDK, but its originally SDK ver 5
And as you have said, for some other applications also it is not able to find the SDK root correctly.
And that too only in some cases. Mainly system path related.

Can you suggest any related setting in Carbide?

Re: Error in building HelloWorld application

I have never tried, but in Preferences (I mean the global one in Window menu), you can try creating an own "SDK" in Carbide.c++/SDK Preferences. Apparently you can provide an EPOCROOT there, and after all, that might be exactly what you need.
