Bluetooth PC - Nokia 6131 without pairing

    Hi there,

I was wondering whether it is possible to use the Nokia 6131 available Java APIs to write code that allows a PC Bluetooth Server send data to the phone with no need to perform pairing.

Is it mandatory to use Symbian to bypass the pairing?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Re: Bluetooth PC - Nokia 6131 without pairing

what I want is to avoid that the user enters any PIN..
I want the midlet to start exchanging bluetooth data once the server is found.

If pairing is technically mandatory as you say, I wouldnt mind having my midlet negotiate the PIN (through a harcoded "0000") with the server without asking the user to enter it..

Anyone knows if this is possible using Java?
