    nokia 6210 and fax message...

    i hope its the right discussion, but i did not find the correct forum...

    i use hylafax (linux) on my server 4 sending fax messages. - now i try to use a nokia 6210 to connect.
    the phone was found correct as class 1/2/2.0 modem.

    but all i tried, if i send a fax, after a half page nothing or garbage comes out on the other side...
    the error message in the logs is: no response to MPS or EOP

    here's my (latest) attempt:

    Hello!

    I have no clear answer, but I would start changing the baud rate and communication speed, have a go with SW flow control or dont use any.

    Have a look also to "n6210Cable.inf" file (available at www.nokia.com) to see how the other FAX software will handle the fax related AT commands.

    Have you subscribed a fax service to your SIM card?
