N75 video playback issue (Screen flips sideways)

    First off, hello.
I've been working on a J2ME application which supports several media types (Using the standard MIDP API).
The video was tested on several phones without any problems, but when I tested it on Nokia N75, I noticed that during the video playback, the entire canvas is flipped sideways (90 degrees clockwise, to be more accurate) and stays that way until the playback ends, after which it returns to normal.
I also tested a media sampler example, and the issue persisted.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? Does it happen only on this handset?
Is there any way to avoid this other than manually rotating the entire canvas or a firmware upgrade?
    Thanks in advance
