    Custom Mailbox Issue.

    Hi All,
    In my application ,there is a ability to make custom mailbox and its working fine.but here is a problem with its default nature.like this,
    //on e66
    if i set default mailbox to my custom mailbox.
    and then press envelope button(long press).i got this message
    "unable to create message.message setting must first be defined in mesaging".
    if i select other mailbox(create by manually). its work fine.
    so here one thing is clear that i have to play with some settings for mtm.
    so
    what they?
    and how?
    is it "CImSmtpSettings" or anything else
    any clue..

    Thanks

    hi,

    CImImap4Settings or CImPop3Settings needs to be taken in consideration..
    if you are using CImSmtpSettings are you doing the below steps...
    To use this class to change a setting:

    1) Set the current context to the SMTP service entry using CMsvStore.

    2) Create an instance of CImSmtpSettings and put it on the cleanup stack.

    3) Retrieve the existing settings by calling CImSmtpSettings::RestoreL().

    4) Specify whether to add a vCard to outbound email by calling CImSmtpSettings::SetAddVCardToEmail().

    5) Save the new settings by calling CImSmtpSettings::StoreL().

    6) Pop and destroy the CImSmtpSettings instance.

    Re: Custom Mailbox Issue.

    Hi,
    I have solved this problem by this code.
    #define KUidMsvMtmQuerySupportEditor 0x101FD692
    TInt CMyMtmUiData::QueryCapability(TUid aCapability, TInt& aResponse) const
    {
    aResponse = KErrNotSupported;
    switch( aCapability.iUid )
    {
    case KUidMsvMtmQuerySupportEditor:
    aResponse = KErrNone;
    break;
    }
    }
    Regards
