Programatically check if Installer is running?

    Hello guys!

I'm newbie in Symbian c++ programming.

My question is: How to determine/check if installer ( installing sis packages ) is currently running?

I'm developing my own installer which runs WGZ file ( widget installation ) just after sis installer is finished. But how do i determine when is finished?

    Thank you!

The system installer has a thread named 'Installer' that runs when it is installing / un-installing an application. You can check if that thread is running. Check this link, it will be helpful.

Hi, on 3rd Edition there are also some P/S flags that you can subscribe for in order to receive notifications when installer events happen. http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...llation_events
Maybe it's a bit easier to use than the process::logon stuff.
