    N80 (S60 3rd Edition) - WiFi Ad-Hoc Between Phones

    Hello,

I've just begun working with Nokia phones, and am planning to use a number of N80 handsets as sensors within a mobile sensor network.

I was curious to know wheter it is possible to connect two Nokia N80s via WiFi without any infrastructure. Can I use their ad-hoc capabilities to esssentially 'pair' two devices/get them to connect to each other over WiFi?

I've done some google-ing in this area, however I've not come across anything useful. Although, from the lack of google search results, I get the feeling this may not actually be possible over WiFi.

Does anyone have a definitive answer on this?

    Thanks,

    MdSalih

    Question Re: N80 (S60 3rd Edition) - WiFi Ad-Hoc Between Phones

I have exactly the same question. I would like to have 2 N95 phones communicate in ad hoc wifi (without any infrastructure). However, I don't know how to do it. Could you please give me some hints?

    Thank you,
