Unhappy Access to accelerometer (N95 etc) from Java

    Hi, all!
Have a problem exploring JSR-256. It seems that there is no existing phone model, which supports this spec. But, AFAIK, accelerometers now are built in some top models, like N95 etc. I've tried to search forums and found "R&D"-plugin, but still no clear advice how to access R&D-plugin API from Java.

    Appreciate any help! Thanks!

Re: Access to accelerometer (N95 etc) from Java

That's true, there are currently no Nokia phones supporting JSR-256 so using the accelerometer directly is out of the question. There is this thread which discusses this matter and you may be able to find an improvised solution.
