    Smile FL 1.1 onSoundComplete GotoAndPlay

    Hi,

    I need to show next movie(gif image) when current MP3 sound ends. Can it be done using Flash Lite 1.1? I am new to Flash.

    If you import a GIF image into a Flash movie, its frames are automatically placed on timeline, so you can easily use gotoAndPlay and related MovieClip methods to manage the GIF animation itself.

    Does this match your needs?

    I have multiple swf files, each with a static gif image and mp3 sound that start as soon as I load the swf.

    Currently I have to press pageup key to load next swf. I want to load the next swf automatically when current mp3 sound ends.
    I am using following simple code:
    on(keyPress "<PageUp>")
    {
    loadMovie("00101.swf", "ayahmc")
    }

    If you're using the Sound object, then its onSoundComplete() event will tell you when the sound finishes playing.

    So, it should be enough to put your loadMovie call into that method, insteat than inside the key press handler.

    Hi,

    But I am using Flash Lite 1.1 and onSoundComplete() works only with Flash Lite 2.0 and above.

    I am just trying to make a slide show type swf which has each slide as image gif and mp3 sound narration. When sound narration of 1st slide ends, it should goto next slide and begin its mp3 sound narration.

    I appreciate your help. Please let me know how it can be achieved in Flash Lite 1.1.
