    Application not in Applications list

First of all, I'm sorry in advance if this has been asked a million times before. I searched the forums and the wiki and I couldn't find an answer.

I made a basic application with, basically, a main class and an active object using Carbide's File->New->Symbian OS C++ Project->Basic console application (EXE). The program builds fine, but after installing it on the phone, it doesn't appear in the Applications list. Is there something you have to do to the PKG or MMP files to get it to appear? I even tried copying the icon file and code from helloworldbasic, but it didn't help.

it is missing the registration resource file most propably, so maybe you should start be making a normal GUI application first.

The SDK may also matter. There is no way to put "console" .exe-s to the menu in case of S60 1st and 2nd editions (S60 2nd FP3 might be an exception).
