    Error:Undeclared Identifier

    HI ALL,
    I am developing an application in that I used http connection for that taking help of HttpClientExample in S60Cpp folder.

    I include all header and libraries in my project but got an error...
    Undefined identifier "R_DIALOG_USER_PASSWORD_QUERY"
    I was searching for the macro "R_DIALOG_USER_PASSWORD_QUERY" but not found yet...I also includ .rsg file in my HttpEngine.cpp file .
    Please help m ASAP...

    hi,

    This seems to be a problem of resource file.

    Check if the same resource is present in your rss file.
    Also check if your rsc file is generated in first place.
    It should be build in epoc32\data\Z\resource\apps

    Thanx 4 reply mrudulpen,
    but my problem not yet solved...
    my rsc file is not generated in first palce
    when I manually added macro in .rsg file, error not occur...

    Hi,

    You need to have a resource definition in your rss file sth like mentioned in the following link

    Hi,

    I think your new resource is not created. Was it so that you added the new resource later on to your rss.

    Try doing reallyclean.
    And then build.

    If it doesnt work. Delete the rsg manually and then build, see if it helps.

    And also make sure you have added the resource to your rss before doing the above things.

    i have added resource definition in .rss file and build project previus errors were gone but build not done successfully because of following erros...

    Undefined symbol means that you have missing libraries. Since each of those messages name a class and a method, you can simply check the required library in the SDK Help, just search for the class.
