Send data from J2ME to ASP.net + SQL Database

    Hi,

I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to all this, but I am currenly working on a University project and would like to know if it is possible to send and retrieve data from/to an SQL database via an ASP.NET website?

If so does anyone have any examples/tips on the best method to do this. I seem to keep finding examples using PHP but not ASP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Fraser

    Hi Fraser,

I've not code examples about this but, independently of the server language you choose, you should build pages that query your SQL database and sends back data to your MIDlet, in the format you prefer. One of the most used formats is surely XML, and there are a lot of available libraries to easily parse it, like kXml.
