    Thumbs up My application is going to in sleep mode after sometime

    Hi friends,

    I have written a small player application which plays video files. Its working fine except one thing. When the application is playing the media file (video file), after some time the visibility of the video is going to in sleep mode (I mean the screen is going to in blank screen nothing is visible). when only we press some key then the video is getting visible.

    What should I do to avoid this situation (going to in blank screen when playing video file)?

    thanks,
    Manoj.

    I am playing .3gp files and .mp4 files.

    I am testing on E61i.

    At the time of starting the player, the screen is in active (bright) mode. The problem is that screen is going to be inactive mode (dull) after sometime but the application is playing the video file.

    What should I do?

    Thanks,
    Manoj.

    Hi,

    Here I am writing my code:
    Player player = Manager.createPlaye("file://E:/cutrGirl.3gp");
    player.realize();
    player.prefetch();
    player.start();

    Thanks,
    Manoj.

    I am not getting any exceptions. I have checked on emulator,
    as emulator doesn't support video capability, I am getting only audio.

    Thanks,
    Manoj.

    Try to play this files in inbuilt media player. If same thing happens there then you need to do some settings. Check the settings. Put alert in every catch part so if there is some error then you can note it.
