    Question Need to hardcode large amount of data using RMS in J2ME

    how can i hardcode large amount of data which is of 3 columns and serverals number of rows using RMS consepts in J2ME for mobile application please i need help for this

    An idea:

    I would suggest to create a binary file using J2SE with the information, pack it into the jar file and read it using J2ME.

    To create the file, just create a DataOutputStream to a file, write the information and take it back in the same order.

    What does it mean,
    If you know about the RMS then it save the data in row format to..like index wise for the each row..
    So you can simply add the data in RMS.As far as the size of data is concern that depends upon the mobile,to mobile..
    You can first check the max limit of the device and save the data..

    Hi,

    Using RMS for storing large amount of data may not be a good idea since the RMS may go out of memory. So try to use an another option if you want your application to run on number of devices.

    u can seprate data with ny special character lyk ## and feel lyk it as different column..
