    Image Clipping

    i have done an application to clip image here is the code
    g.fillRect(0, 0, getWidth(), getHeight());

    g.setClip(x1, y1, x2-x1, y2-y1);

    g.drawImage(img,0,0,Graphics.TOP|Graphics.LEFT);
    where x1,y1 and x2,y2 are user selected coordinates for clipping the image

    Re: Image Clipping

    hi raj

    clipping is working as im displaying the image within the clipping region means the complete image is there but to the user only certain portion is visible but due to this adjustment im not able to save the clipped image

    what i want is after the image is clipped the user should be able to save the image as immutable image

    Mahesh,
    I will give you an idea..
    Here it is..Can you tell me that do you have the x and y offsets of the clipping area..

    I guess you have these points..just save the same in RMS and as soon as you can read the points and move ahead..
    Thanks,
    Thanks with Regards,

    HI,

    what I am saying is that when your clip is complete then you must be having the x co-ordinates and y too...just save those points in RMS..

    like after clipping -
    x = 10,20,30,40,50,
    y = 40,50,60,70,80
    The save these ..take in array or so..then write into the RMS and when you want to draw that similar image then just read the same...and draw the image...
    Thanks,
    Thanks with Regards,
