    Displaying vietnamese charcaters

    Hi everyone,

I am developing a console application for Symbian OS, I am currently using the emulator to test it. The application needs to display Vietnamese character, but so far it does not work. Other than that aspect the application is pretty much complete. Does someone know if it is possible to display Vietnamese characters with the emulator?

Also, and more importantly, if I buy an American phone running Symbian OS, will it be possible to configure it to display Vietnamese characters or do I need to by a Vietnamese phone?

    Thank you

    Re: Displaying vietnamese charcaters

For conducting simple tests you should remember to use Unicode characters, like _LIT(KSomething "ABCD\x00AEEFGH\x00A9IJKL\x20AC"). According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quoc_Ngu#Computer_support you will most probably succeed.
