    How to create our own AIW services

    Hi, All:

    Anybody know how to create our own AIW services and public to 3rd party? Currently Nokia public a series of AIW api to interact with system application, is it possible for us to public some api like it also?

    Welcome any help for it.

    AFAIK, the AIW service provider API in non public, thus if you would need access to it, you should first prepare a Valid use case, for which you have valid and good business case.

    Then you could open a technical support case, in which you use case would be evaluated and the API for it identified. then if the use case would include non public S60 C++ APIs, you would be instructed on opening a API partnering case. Note that it could be that the use case of yours might require Symbian owned private APIs, thus then you would also need to contact Symbian for their partnering options.

    Thanks a lot for your reply. Unfortunately, our company was working on to be a Nokia partner, but at the same time, we need design our client to follow the AIW framework to make sure it will affect as minor as we can after we got some APIs, So is it possible to show us some documents for how to create it? Then we can think about it in the design.

    just re-read the answer, if something is non-public, there propably would not be any public documents on how to use it available...
