Has anyone tried to parse index.dat to get web history?

Hi all,

I would like to parse index.dat file (c:\system\cache\index.dat) to get the links a user has visited and display them in my own list. Some of you might mention Adaptive History List and I tried and it is useless (I am wworking on SDK 5th)!!!!! so so so if anyone tried to parse that index.dat file or knows it's file format on Symbian phone, the help would be much much much appreciated.

Thanks!!!

S.

Download the S60 webkit source code - use google to find it
Extract it
Look in the folder WebKit\ResourceLoader\CacheSrc
This is the code that reads and writes the file.
Download Symbian OS now! http://developer.symbian.org
